Auto is in goede staat en heeft nog steeds de oorspronkelijke leren bekleding.  Goed rijdbaar, maar geen concoursstaat.  
 
Datum afgifte eerste kenteken Essen, Duitsland: 23-05-1973
Eerste kenteken registratie in Nederland: 13-08-2021
 
Het chassis is van 1973, de carrosserie met stuurinrichting is van 1976. Zodoende heeft deze kever een tandheugelstuur i.p.v. de wormoverbrenging.
De carrosserie is tijdens restauratie blank gemaakt, van epoxyprimer voorzien en daarna met 1K synthetische kunstharslak in zijdeglans gerold.
 
Diverse (deel)restauraties in Nederland uitgevoerd  van 2015-2021
-body off, nieuwe bodemplaten, nieuwe napoleonhoed en chassiskop.
-volledig nieuwe remleidingen, remcilinders, voor schijfremmen, achter trommelremmen )
-nieuwe wiellagers voor en achter
-nieuwe schokbrekers voor en achter
-lijnboren carter
-nieuwe glijlagers krukas en drijfstangen
-nieuwe oliepomp
-nieuwe oliekoeler
-nieuwe cilinders/zuigers ( ombouw van 1300 naar 1600 cc )
-nieuwe bobine, stroomverdeler
-nieuwe dynamo
-kapframe gerestaureerd
-nieuwe linnen kap ( zelf gemonteerd, helaas niet perfect )
 
Nog te doen:
-klokje doet het niet.
-snelheidsmeter werkt, maar km teller doet het niet.
-leren bekleding vervangen ( leer wordt kwetsbaar, naden gaan stuk )
-spuiten?
 
Onderdelen die bijgeleverd worden:
-tandheugel stuurinrichting
-versnellingsbak
-verstijvingsbalken ( dorpels ) speciaal voor cabrio.
