Ik weet niet beter dan de basis instelling voor een carb in de kever 2.5 slag open op zowel stelschroef lucht als benzine mengsel of heb ik het al die tijd verkeerd gedaan?

Betekent het als ik de benzine rijker afstel ook meer lucht erbij of minder. Ik zou hem graag niet zo rijk afstellen maar rond de 900 toeren stationair

Afstellen ligt een beetje aan het type carburateur dat je hebt, de oudere versie met alleen een co en stationairschroef, of een waar je ook het brandstof/luchtmengsel mee afsteld.

Basisafstelling is eigenlijk alleen om er voor te zorgen dat hij blijft draaien. Ik zou hem echt aan een co meter hangen, want te arm afstellen is geheid heter lopen en geeft problemen.

Hier een leuk stukje over carburateurs en de keuze voor bepaalde sproeiers. Erg interessant, ik heb de mijne ook aangepast:
